A message from New York has reached me to tell me the award in the Eclectic EP category for the 18th Independent Music Awards, for which my EP The Wind Just Blew A Day Away had been nominated, has gone to the Canadian artist JoJo Worthington for her EP The Company You Keep. Congratulations to her! I’ll be grateful for the honor of the nomination for a long time and it will remain visible in the history of the IMA’s.
All in all I’m very happy with the response to the EP over the last year. Good reviews in Dutch magazines, in international blogs and airplay on NPO Radio 1, 2, and 5 and tracks in some Spotify editorial playlists.
Meanwhile I’ve restlessly and insecurely (as I should be) started working on new material. Thank you for listening!
