Part 2 of a diptych about Ruud’s recent work, written by John Ellison of Goat Palace Zine in Anacortes, Washington State USA, is now online. By chance, he came across the recent single Below Freezing at 14th Street-Union Square Station, about which he wrote Part 1 a month ago. That song led him to also discover and review Accidental Pictures. The attention in the Dutch press for the album has been wonderful, but Ellison delves much deeper than the Dutch press could do with the introspective and somewhat raw record in the market here, with its very limited space.
